Q:What payment options are available?
A:

We accept payments by Credit Card, PayPal, Bank/Wire Transfer, Check/Money Order, Credit Card by Fax, and Invoice. Below is a brief description of each option and the process to follow your order through to completion.

Credit Card: We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Visa Check Card, Eurocard and MasterMoney. All orders are processed in real time and upon completion an email will be sent to you as confirmation of your purchase. This option is recommended and you can begin to download the software instantly. For all other options you will not receive your order until we have received payment.

Bank/Wire Transfer: Depending on your location, once you click "Place Your Order" you will either be provided with payment instructions on your monitor or you will be advised that an invoice will be posted to you. European customers who receive an invoice by postal mail may use the invoice to pay by bank/wire transfer or GIRO.

Check/Money Order: Once you click "Place Your Order" payment instructions will be presented to you on your monitor. After choosing this option you will need to send a check or money order to the address listed on the final page. Your registration will not be complete until funds have been received.

Fax - Credit Card: Once you click "Place Your Order" payment instructions will be presented to you on your monitor. The fax number will be presented at the bottom of the final page. Once we receive your completed information we will process the order as soon as possible.

Invoice: Once you click "Place Your Order" payment instructions will be presented to you on your monitor. After you submit your order a printable invoice will be displayed in your web browser. After printing the invoice, you will then use it to remit payment to the address given on the invoice.

PayPal: Once you click "Place Your Order" you will be provided with information for making your payment by PayPal. By clicking on the "Buy Now" button on that page, you will be directed to the PayPal website to make your payment. Please note that you do not need to have a PayPal account to make use of this option. PayPal will also allow you to pay using a credit card.

Q: Is your online order form secure?
A: Yes. It is 100% secure.

Q: What happens after I complete the order?
A: You will receive an email confirming your order shortly after submitting the online order form. Then, within 24 hours, you will receive a second email with your User Name and Registration Code.

Q: How do I register my copy of your product?
A: You can input the "User Name" and "Registration Code" that we mail to you into the License dialog to register your copy..

Q: What is the difference between the personal and the commercial license?
A: The difference is in licensing. You can't use Odboso File Retrieval(Photo Retrieval) Personal License for business purposes.

Q: I accidentally made two payments. How to get one refunded?
A: Do not worry. If there is any duplicate payment, we will refund it. Just contact our support team directly with your payment information (ex. Order ID, Email). We will deal with it immediately.

Q: Should I uninstall an older version of software before installing the newer version?
A: No. Just install the newer version over the older version.

Q: I found that I have deleted very important file(photo). It was deleted BEFORE Odboso File Retrieval(Photo Retrieval) was installed on my computer. Is it possible to restore it?
A: Yes, if the file has not already been written over (by some other files), you can recover it.

Q: I have deleted a file(photo). How long do I have before data recovery is no longer possible?
A: It is not possible to predict a time like this in hours or days. Microsoft Windows can overwrite a deleted file immediately if it selects the same data clusters.
To maximize recovery chances try not to write anything onto the drive where a deleted file is located before you start using Odboso File Retrieval(Photo Retrieval).

Q: Is it always possible to recover my missing, deleted or lost files?
A: Not always. When you delete file from your hard drive, Windows makes the space occupied by the deleted file available for use. If a new file is saved to the same area of the hard drive it will overwrite the deleted files contents, permanently erasing it. This is why we recommend that you limit the use of your hard drive from which the file needs to be recovered.

Q: What does deleted file status(Poor, Good and Excellent) mean? How can I know which file can be recovered?
A: The file status shows the minimum proven damage of a deleted file. The actual file condition may be worse, but files with "Excellent" status can be recovered 100% almost. Files with "Poor" status might be recovered, but usually cannot and files with "Good" status have a better chance to be recovered.

Q: What should I do immediately after accidental erasure to ensure that I can recover those files(photos)?
A: The most important thing is to prevent the erased file(photos) from being overwritten by another file(photo).
To do so, avoid any use of the disk(memory card or usb disk) where the file(photo) was erased, until after the erased file(photo) is recovered. Also, remember that Odboso File Retrieval should not be installed to this disk.

Q: Why is recovery to the same disk not recommended?
A: Recovery to the same disk may overwrite the very segments of the disk that you're trying to recover files from. That will not leave you another recovery chance..

Q: Why do files with "Good" Status appear unreadable after recovery and why can't I use them?
A: Status shows the minimum proven damage of a file. The actual file condition may be worse, but files with "Excellent" Status can be recovered 100% almost..

Q: Can I do something in advance to increase my chances of file recovery?
A: Yes, keep your disk in good shape by regularly defragmenting it.
